2026 PoPo Jar - Single 4
Product Specs:
⌀3.25" x H4.5"
Ceramic
This handmade Korean ceramic popo jar features a small dog perched on the lid, accented with a tiny gold bell and a softly sculpted fluffy tail. The rounded form is finished in a natural, speckled glaze, giving it a quiet, warm presence. Both functional and decorative, it works well as a lidded jar for small items or as a playful accent on a shelf.
Jang Hun Seong is a Korean ceramic artist based in Icheon, a region known for its long ceramic tradition. His work reflects a focus on material and process, shaped by years of studying both Korean and Japanese pottery.
He creates his own ash glaze using rice straw, known as “Hoeryong” glaze. Applied as a second layer, it flows naturally during firing, creating soft, marbled patterns. Each piece shows subtle variations, reflecting the character of the clay and the making process.
- Handmade by Jang Hun Seong in Icheon, Korea
- Hand wash only
*Every piece is handcrafted and hand-painted. The size and color may vary slightly.
