2026 PoPo Jar - Double 3
Product Specs:
⌀3.25" x H4.5"
Ceramic
This handmade Korean ceramic popo jar by Jang Hun Seong features two small dogs sitting side by side on the lid, each detailed with a tiny gold bell at the neck. Finished with his signature rice straw ash glaze, the surface shows soft, natural variations in tone and texture. Both functional and decorative, it’s a unique piece for storing small items or adding a quiet, playful touch to a space.
Jang Hun Seong is a Korean ceramic artist based in Icheon, a region known for its long ceramic tradition. His work reflects a focus on material and process, shaped by years of studying both Korean and Japanese pottery.
He creates his own ash glaze using rice straw, known as “Hoeryong” glaze. Applied as a second layer, it flows naturally during firing, creating soft, marbled patterns. Each piece shows subtle variations that reflect the character of the clay and the firing process.
- Handmade by Jang Hun Seong in Icheon, Korea
- Hand wash only
*Every piece is handcrafted and hand-painted. The size and color may vary slightly.
